यमन में हूतियों ने अल-मोखा पोर्ट इलाके में मिसाइल और ड्रोन से बड़े हमले का दावा किया है। हूती प्रवक्ता के मुताबिक सऊदी समर्थित फोर्सेज और हथियारों के डिपो निशाने पर थे। दूसरी तरफ यमनी अधिकारियों ने हमले में 7 लोगों की मौत और करीब 30 लोगों के घायल होने की जानकारी दी है। अल-मोखा पोर्ट रेड सी और बाब-अल-मंदेब के करीब होने के कारण रणनीतिक रूप से बेहद अहम है। इस हमले के बाद यमन में फिर बड़े संघर्ष का खतरा बढ़ता दिख रहा है।
Yemen has witnessed a fresh escalation after the Houthis claimed a large missile and drone attack on Saudi-backed forces around the strategic Al-Makha port. Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said ballistic missiles and drones targeted troop concentrations and weapons depots. Yemeni officials reported seven deaths and around 30 injuries, while claiming several Houthi drones were intercepted. The attack comes amid renewed tensions along Yemen’s Red Sea coast and a reported Houthi strike on a Saudi Aramco facility in Jizan.
